Bicycle Across South Carolina (BASC)

Bicycle Across South Carolina (BASC) is a multi-day gravel ride that takes participants off the road and onto the scenic trails of South Carolina. Riders will experience the adventure of a lifetime as they explore rural gravel roads, camp under an endless country sky, and engage with a community of like-minded enthusiasts.

McCormick Gold Rush Festival

The annual Gold Rush Festival, held in September, will not be held in 2022. We are sorry for any inconveniences, but we ask for your patience while we take sometime to realign our resources and look to making changes that will serve our community for the future.

Gold Rush Festival served our community for 40 plus years and we are thankful for all the hard work committed to by our volunteer residents.

Holiday on Main

Bring your family and friends and join us in Historic Downtown McCormick to kick off the Holiday Season! There is something for everyone and for all age groups.

The dates are December 2,3 & 9, 10, 2022. All residents and visitors are welcome to come and enjoy the Holiday Season in our special community. Various activities span over two weekends. The Chamber of Commerce, The McCormick County Visitor Council, McCormick Arts Council at the Keturah, and the Historic Rail Town of McCormick welcomes you to our Holiday Celebration!

Independence Day Celebration, Fireworks & Boat Parade

The 5th annual Independence Day Celebration, Fireworks & Boat Parade will be held at Plum Branch Yacht Club on July 9, 2022.

Mark your calendars for next years event – July 8, 2023 . Details will be forth coming.

The mission of the McCormick County Chamber of Commerce is to provide leadership and vision, programs, projects and initiatives that will promote and serve the community, its businesses and its citizens.
